The Organic Acids Test
The Organic Acids Test (OAT) evaluates levels of yeast and bacteria in your body.
People who have chronic illnesses or neurological conditions may excrete organic acids at abnormally high levels which cause (or worsen) illnesses, fatigue, immune functions, behaviour and movement disorders, and hyperactivity.
Abnormal levels can be caused by sugar, antibiotics, immune deficiencies, and genetics. If the OAT detects abnormalities, we offer treatment that may include supplements like vitamins and antioxidants, or dietary advice. Please contact us for further details.
About The Testing
The OAT profiles 76 organic acids, including 20 microbial ones.
The test is non-invasive – just a small urine specimen. The sample is analysed by Great Plains Laboratory in the USA.
